Beautification Committee

The Beautification Committee meets in the lunch room of the Borough Hall on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7pm.

About the Board:

It is the responsibility of the Committee to advise the Mayor and Council of any items pertaining to maintenance of public properties; to make recommendations to enhance and preserve the aesthetics of the Borough's public properties; with the consent of the Mayor and Council, to organize and engage in seasonal plantings on the public properties; and to otherwise promote and maintain the aesthetiscs of public properties within the Borough.  The Committee shall also present an annual plan to the Mayor and Council with the recommendations to enhance and preserve the aesthetics of public properties.

Girl Scout Silver Award Garden Project

Gianna Bossone, of New Milford Girl Scout Troop 1506, created a Mother’s Day garden in an effort to beautify the borough and achieve her Silver Award.

Beautification Committee's Latest Projects:
The New Milford Beautification Committee recently completed a garden project at the corner of River Edge Rd. & Holland Ave.  If you would like to be a part of this committee, please consider attending a meeting.
