A MESSAGE FROM THE TAX OFFICE
The 3rd Quarter 2022 Estimated Tax Bills were mailed. Property taxes are payable August 1, 2022. Interest will accrue back to August 1st on any third quarter payment received after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10th.
Please note: There will be no in-person tax collection.
Taxes can be paid by mail or online. There is a drop box at the south entrance to Borough Hall for your convenience.

The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA), Division of Housing and Community Resources (DHCR) will be accepting pre-applications online at: www.WaitlistCheck.com/NJ559 for the State Rental Assistance Program (SRAP) Waiting Lists for Elderly, Family, Disabled and Homeless. *Enrollment Period is Monday, July 11, 2022, at 9:00 a.m.

All Daytime Parking Rules and Street Sweeping Rules are in effect. No parking is allowed during restricted times as per Borough Ordinance 7-3.6
COURT UPDATE
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic Municipal Court will now be conducted virtually/remotely to minimize exposure to COVID 19. Accordingly, all complaints, defendants, attorneys, victims are to contact the municipal court via email at susan.armbruster@njcourts.gov. or at 201-967-5044 Ext. 5720 to provide your full name, email address, and cell phone number within seven days of a court notice.
Defendants may continue to make payments for parking, traffic and certain non traffic matters through the Municipal Courts online payment system at NJMCDirect.com.

FEMA DISASTER ASSISTANCE - Bergen County residents and business owners can apply for disaster relief directly by visiting www.DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired. The toll-free telephone numbers will operate from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. (local time) seven days a week until further notice. In addition, the State is providing small businesses with assistance which can be found at Henri/Ida Business Assistance Grant Program is available at https://www.njeda.com/henri-ida-relief/.
D-SNAP -Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program provides food assistance benefits to individuals and families no enrolled in SNAP who live in certain municiaplities affected by Tropical Storm Ida. Click here for more information.
SBA DISASTER LOANS can cover the difference between an insurance settlement and what is needed to fully recover. If a survivor has not settled their insurance claim, SBA will consider making a loan for the total loss up to its loan limits. The insurance settlement will be used to reduce or repay the loan. The SBA is encouraging New Jersey businesses and residents affected by the remnants of Hurricane Ida on Sept. 1-3, 2021, to submit their loan applications for physical damages even if they have not settled with their insurance company.
